EAA periodically posts its significant accomplishments. These reports are broken into two groups:

Benefits for the general membership or large groups of members.
Benefits for individual members or small groups of members.

Remember that the first priority for the staff at EAA is representing members in the workplace for their grievances, out-of-class complaints, unfair labor practice complaints, and other issues. This representation requires strict adherence to time limits and grievance procedures, and an intimate knowledge of MOU provisions and City policies, Codes, and procedures. As our Steward training proceeds, your Union Steward will increasingly be able to assist each member in the workplace, making this part of representation even more effective.

The benefits for the membership as a whole derive more directly from the directives of your Governors, the work of Negotiating Teams, and the actions of your Executive staff. The labor representatives provide input and perform much of the legwork, while the office staff prepares many of the documents utilized during this process.

Each of the individual cases requires proper documentation and timely filing for success, something to remember should you need the services of your Union Steward or Labor Representative.
