Welcome to the Engineers and Architects Association, IUPA Local 8000 Website. EAA is the oldest Los Angeles City union and one of the largest, serving about 8,000 members, all of whom are employed by the City of Los Angeles. This website provides the latest updates on issues and events, educates members regarding their MOU, other terms of employment, labor law, labor history, grievance processing, local and national union news, and other issues. We welcome anyone to obtain our instant updates by RSS feed and to visit any pages not maintained for the exclusive use of our members. We encourage all City employees we represent to join EAA as we are all stronger pulling together. Investigate the drop-down menus and links. Your constructive feedback about the site is always welcome.

In the adjacent panel, you can experience many past events of our union in a changing slide show. Members will find many of their friends and co-workers represented here and can re-live exciting and interesting times. The header of each webpage contains of picture of a Los Angeles City work-place or landmark, thus high-lighting our City for all who visit the website. Please enjoy the show and return anytime.
